History of principles, presented at Kunstgebouw, Delft 2011

Metaphorically, human barriers in the landscape are bridged by bees. The Melarium becomes focus of beekeepers, local organisations, institutions, visitors and bees. The planned thousands of fruit trees (landscape design Bosch Slabbers) would be fertilized as well as the plants for bees at the leftover spaces around the service station and waysides of motorway A13. The original location close to the motorway had to be altered to the actual venue because of practical and formal reasons.
