Tidal Machine - Gravity Study

Within a tidal machine, various objects are set into motion. This work forms an initial exploration towards kinetic architecture driven by tidal differences. Such architecture is conceived in direct connection with the sea and its tides, as an ode to gravity.

In the universe, the effects of this weakest yet most essential of the four fundamental forces of nature are as boundless as they are mysterious. Thanks to Newton and Einstein, gravity can be described through relatively simple equations: mass attracts mass, warping space and time. Yet it remains an open question whether- and how- gravity arises at the quantum-mechanical level.

Gravity nonetheless makes life on Earth possible. Is it… love?
